Comprising of two excellent single origins: the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and Brazil Serra Das Tres Barras. Hey Buddy is bright, floral and fruity with a profile of juicy berries, apricot, creamy caramel and a hint of hazelnuts. Unbeatable for any filter brew, cold brew or plunger!

Hey Buddy Blend.

I tried this coffee using the pour over method and am really enjoying it. The blend is smooth and not at all bitter. I would recommend it.

Very nice filter roast, particularly for this price

Filter roasts from good roasteries now usually run to $20-something for 250g. That gets expensive! Hey Buddy is a few dollars cheaper but just as good as other blended filter roasts from top roasteries

Has a cult following for a reason

I purchased my pour over set up from Padre Coffee during lockdown and bought the Hey Buddy blend for my first brew as it was simply there. It was great but I wanted to broaden my horizons and sampled a few others over the next few months. I’ve found a few favorites and some I couldn’t get my pallet to vibe with but alas I have come full circle and returned to the beginning. It’s a great tasting coffee for everyday brewing and is forgiving if you don’t stick to the exact same method/recipe which I found with some others.
