Brunswick's Best Espresso Pack

Bohemian culture and an unwavering sense of community come to mind when we think of the inner-city Melbourne suburb of Brunswick. With architecture that pays home to the Italian and Greek community that used to once congregate, Brunswick is now mostly known for its thriving arts, live music and epic coffee scene. To celebrate Brunswick in all its grungy glory, we have bundled together four coffees from four Brunswick’s best roasters.

Three Pack:
  • 1 x 250g Padre Coffee's Daddy's Girl Espresso Blend
  • 1 x 250g Code Black's Ex-Wife Espresso Blend
  • 1 x 250g Market Lane's Seasonal Espresso Blend
Four Pack:
  • 1 x 250g Padre Coffee's Daddy's Girl Espresso Blend
  • 1 x 250g Code Black's Ex-Wife Espresso Blend
  • 1 x 250g Market Lane's Seasonal Espresso Blend
  • 1 x 250g Wide Open Road's Bathysphere Espresso Blend
    Padre's Daddy's Girl
    • Caramel
    • Creamy milk chocolate

Sweet, rich and deceptively simple, the DG blend is soft and mellow with low acidity, full body and notes of creamy milk chocolate and caramel in the cup. It's Padre's most popular blend and delicious both black and with milk.

    Code Black's Ex-Wife Blend
    • Roasted macadamia
    • Dark chocolate
    • Amaretto
    • Caramel & cocoa finish

Strong and powerful, this is for those that prefer mild acidity with dark chocolate and caramel sweetness. Code Black's darkest and most developed blend, this is a roast focused for milk based drinks. Perfect for traditional espresso drinkers wanting to experience more of what coffee has to offer.

    Market Lane's Seasonal Espresso
    • Roasted hazelnut
    • Milk chocolate
    • Cherry

The two coffees that make up this blend complement each other beautifully. In the cup, you’ll find notes of roasted hazelnut, milk chocolate and cherry. Market Lane's Seasonal Espresso tastes delicious both with and without milk - and we can't get enough of it.

Wide Open Road's Bathysphere Espresso Blend
    • Big bold body
    • Dark chocolate sweetness
    • Caramel
    • Soft fruity finish

Wide Open Road's signature espresso blend is made up of beans from Brazil, Colombia & Ethiopia.  Expect a big body with sweet caramel and fruit-driven flavours. A very well balanced blend that makes for excellent black coffee and really shines with milk.

Altdrop Brunswick's Best Espresso Bundle Pack Review

    Lockdown but not Coffee-down

I really enjoyed a local mix up from Brunswick, each brought their own unique blend and flavour to my morning. My personal favourite was Code Black Ex-Wife for depth of chocolate rich dense dark fruit flavour. Market Lane's Seasonal brought a red fruit uplift intensity to the mid palate bringing a lingering sweetness to the backend, and Padre a gentler approach with good balance of fruit and milk chocolate. Communication, packaging and delivery were great, in these Lockdown times it is great to be able to get good coffee to my door, a trip out within my 5km ;)
