About Adorsi

White peach and jasmine elegance.

Adorsi is a washing station near the village of Aricha in the heart of Yirgacheffe, a region celebrated for some of Ethiopia's most floral and elegant coffees. It was the first washing station Faysel Abdosh of the family run Testi Specialty Coffee acquired in Yirgacheffe, and it remains one of the family's most established sites, fed by around 800 independent outgrowers whose farms sit between 1,900 and 2,000 metres. The station's high elevation and Aricha's cool climate let the coffee dry slowly, building complexity and sweetness, while the nearby Wogida river provides water for processing. Coffee from each neighbouring village is processed separately for traceability, and this lot comes from Aricha, where families like Nisusse Salo's farm organically under native shade trees alongside false banana, corn and grain. Farmers are paid on delivery with a premium above the government set rate, plus a second premium once the lot is sold. Made up primarily of Kurume and Wolisho with other landrace and JARC varieties, this washed coffee is light roasted by Legend for filter, with white peach, jasmine and honey sweetness.

Coffee Freshness

How fresh is the coffee I will receive?

  • We aim to deliver coffee that is less than 14 days post-roast at the time it reaches your door.
  • We work closely with our roasters to ensure peak freshness with every order.

As a general guide:

  • 0–8 days post-roast:
Coffee is fresh and drinkable, but may still be developing its full flavour.
  • 9–35 days post-roast:
Peak drinking window – flavours are well-developed and balanced.
  • 35–56 days post-roast:
Still tastes good, though flavour clarity may begin to fade.
  • 56+ days post-roast:
Coffee may start to taste stale or flat – we recommend using it sooner.
Ethical Sourcing

Is your coffee ethically sourced?

  • Yes - we only work with roasters who source their coffee ethically.

What does ethical sourcing mean to us?

  • Fair pay for farmers:
Ensuring producers receive a living income and are paid above market rates.
  • Transparent supply chains:
Sourcing coffee through traceable, direct relationships wherever possible.
  • Respect for communities:
Backing partners who invest in the wellbeing of farming communities, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

We regularly review our roasters to ensure their values and practices align with our commitment to sustainability and fairness.

About Legend Coffee Roasters

Legends Are Dialled In

Legend Coffee Roasters have been a driving force behind the evolving coffee scene on the New South Wales Central Coast since 2019. What started with three-years of brewing on a modest 6kg Giesen coffee roaster, the operation has continued to evolve with the acquisition of a Loring Kestrel s35, the team has gone from 10 batches a week, up to 80+ batches to meet the growing demand.

Legend Coffee Roasters is more than a name, it’s a craft-led approach to specialty coffee that celebrates every step of the bean’s journey.
